Why does CCC host Invitation-only events?
CCC invitation-only events are one aspect of our multi-faceted programming and outreach and are meant to work in tandem with our larger public and member-only events.
Our invitation-only events are designed to create space for smaller, more intimate gatherings to spark the magic of collaborative alliances among leaders and organizations dedicated to creating a positive impact on our city.
We desire these smaller events to cultivate deeper relationships that are rooted in a belief of shared responsibility to contribute to the goals of Conscious Capitalism that elevate the visibility and impact of Conscious Capitalism in our world and draw more and more people to the movement.
Why are we hosting a Jeffersonian Dinner?
Chicago Conscious Capitalism is piloting our first Jeffersonian Dinner as a way to fulfill our commitment to offering a place to voice hope, to be inspired, and providing a place to be challenged, to grow, and to find wisdom, questions, and answers.*
Because the purpose of Jeffersonian Dinners is to listen, learn, and inspire one another through meaningful dialogue around a particular topic, it felt like a natural and perfect fit to add to the intentional ways CCC creates opportunities for meaningful discussions.
The format of the Jeffersonian Dinners is designed to gather thought leaders and influencers from a range of backgrounds and fields to share in conversation and debate on a particular topic who then engage in a single conversation, with only one person speaking at a time, allowing guests to unlock the power of their collective wisdom.**
What is the discussion topic of CCC's inaugural Jeffersonian Dinner?
The topic of the evening will be focused on Conscious Capitalism (i.e. what is the difference between conscious capitalism and traditional capitalism?) with the goal of allowing people to more deeply engage in a thoughtful discussion of what conscious capitalism actually is and is not and how conscious capitalism applies to issues our world is facing.
Paul Sippil, a CCC member, Community Dinner Expert, and experienced Jeffersonian Dinner Moderator will be acting as our moderator for the dinner.
