The pandemic has wreaked havoc for businesses large and small. Impacts to all stakeholders –customers, employees, supply chains and communities –have forced many business leaders into reactive, protective modes. However, some businesses are taking creative approaches, fueled by their purpose, a commitment to their stakeholders and the strength of their leadership and culture to ensure that they will come out stronger on the other side.

Join us on September 24 as the Executives’ Club’s and the Chicago Chapter of Conscious Capitalism welcome David Gardner from The Motley Fool to share his expertise on decisions that are driven by purpose and creating value for all stakeholders as well as maximizing profit.

David will focus on how conscious businesses are performing during these times. He will speak to both their financial performance as well as internal issues around culture, leadership, and stakeholder value creation. David is Chief Rule Breaker at The Motley Fool, a financial services company he co-founded in 1993 alongside his brother Tom. The Motley Fool’s purpose is to make the world smarter, happier, and richer. To that end, David has picked stocks for a worldwide membership for 27 years and hosted his own weekly podcast, Rule Breaker Investing, since 2015. David has also been a longtime leader in the Conscious Capitalism movement.

Members of Conscious Capitalism Chicago are invited to attend the event at no charge. Use the code MOTLEY (all caps) when registering.
