Two lenses, one important discussion.

Andrew and Jean are at the epicenter of this question: Can the workplace actually be a space of safety, contribution and personal growth? Andrew brings his academic and real-world research to Chicago. Jean is in the trenches with practical day-to-day practice of creating a thriving, profitable environment.

Join us for a dialogue from two perspectives: research and practical leadership.

Andrew Faas will share insights from his groundbreaking study with Yale University, "Emotional Revolution in the Workplace", which seeks to understand how employees feel about their work and why they feel the ways they do. He’s also the author of the book, "The Bully's Trap: Bullying in the Workplace" and will be providing copies at the event.

Jean Pitzo is CEO of Ace Metal Crafts in Bensenville. Ace is the 2015 winner of the Illinois Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award. Jean will provide practical examples to augment Andrew's perspective, sharing Ace's culture and practices that engage employees and support successful business results.
